Q. Do you perform drug screens?

Yes, we do two types of drug screens. The first type is in house (quick screens). For the second type we are “collectors only” and the sample is processed at a lab of your choice.

Q. How long does it take to get the results of a drug screen?

If it is a quick drug screen, performed in our office, it takes just a few minutes to process. If the drug screen is being sent to a lab it usually takes a day or two. If the initial testing on a drug screen sent to a lab shows positive results it could take up to 5 days before all testing is complete – this amount of time just depends on the lab and what is showing up in the testing process.

Q. Do you perform breath alcohol?

No, we do not perform breath alcohol. We do perform saliva test per DOT standards.


Q. Do you perform DOT and pre-employment physicals?

Yes, we perform both DOT and pre-employment physicals.

Q. How long have you been treating worker’s compensation injuries?

Dr. Murphy has been treating worker’s injuries for approximately twenty years.

Q. How long will my employees wait to be seen?

Every effort is made for your employees to be seen as soon as they arrive at the facility.

Q. How will I know what the treatment plan is for my employee/s?

Once your employee has been seen and treated you will be faxed a form called “Report to Employer”; on the form will be all pertinent information about the employee, medication given (if needed), any light duty restrictions (if needed), and any follow-up visits or referral to specialists (if needed).

Once you receive the form, you are always encouraged to call our office and voice any questions/concerns you may have.

Q. Can you perform x-rays?

Yes, we have an x-ray machine on-site.

Q. How much are your office visits?

Routine office visits are $75.00.
If an x-ray is required your office visit will be $90.00
If a procedure is performed the cost will be based on supplies needed/used.

Q. Do you need an appointment or do you take walk-ins?

Urgent care patients are taken with or without appointments. However, it is better to give us a call to avoid potential waiting times.

Q. Do you file or accept insurance?

We do not file or accept insurance. Upon request we will supply the necessary information for you to file with your insurance company.

Q. What type of payment do you accept?

We DO NOT accept checks. We do accept cash, Mastercard, VISA and debit cards.

To save time on your initial visit, feel free to download, print, and fill out the following form. Be sure to bring the printed copy with you to your appointment.

Q. How does your program work?

On your first visit you be weighed and measured. Then you and Brian Murphy, MD will discuss your eating habits, and he will teach you how to modify those habits in order to meet your goal weight. You will also receive medication to help curb your appetite and, if indicated, medication to help with sweet cravings.

After your initial visit you will meet with Dr. Murphy once a month to go over your progress and any concerns you may have. You will meet with Dr. Murphy on each visit.

Q. What is the cost?

Your initial visit will be $90.00 plus the cost of medicine. The cost of medication ranges between $20 and $40 depending on the specific kind you need. After your initial office visit, your visits will be $65.00 plus your medicine.

Q. Do I need an appointment?

We feel your time is valuable, and we strive to make your wait time as little as possible; therefore, we do ask that you call for appointments. Every effort will be made to accommodate your schedule.

There is a $25.00 charge for all missed appointments. Please call and cancel so your time slot can be opened up to others..

Q. Do you accept insurance?

We DO NOT accept insurance. Upon request we will supply a receipt for you to file with your insurance company.
